Why does it have to update each time? Does the list of drugs truly change that often? Im truly wondering.

As others have mentioned, app is requiring an update every time it opens. This will only work over wifi and you cant use the app unless it "updates." Please fix so I can continue to use at my site.

Can you stop the app from updating each time I open it? Its so annoying and unnecessary.

after the most recent update, it not only requires a new update each time when opening the app and it wont let me use it when I am not connecting to a wifi. I have unlimited cellular data and it wont let me use! it said i could use without the new update, but cant get pass that screen. very annoyed!

App will not let you use until you connect to wifi and update the content. Extremely inconvenient and makes the app almost unusable.

Tries to update every time it opens and wont let you use the app unless it updates. The catch is it wont update unless you are connected to wifi. You cant even leave it running in the background. It will try to update every time you go back to the app.

The greatest strength of this app was the ability to access information offline

Every time this version of the app is opened it will update the drug definitions. This means that you have to wait several minutes EVERY time you open the app, even if it was 30 second ago. PLEASE FIX

The need to update every time the app is open is asinine. I need immediate access to the app for patient care. I have switched to the competition.

Like the others have stated, the app wants to update at each launch and requires Wi-Fi to run. The work-around is to uninstall it or put up with it until fixed. There is e-pocrates. *Update* In all fairness, there appears to be a fix for the constant updating at each launch. After uninstalling, I found that rather than blowing it off, that reinstalling the app and reentering the password fixed the problem, at least so far. Check the expiration date of the content. It may have expired too. I have increased the rating to three stars.

Why does it require my institutional password every time I open it up? Thats really reduces the efficiency. It used to be my go to app, now its dropping down the pecking order. Why does it also have to update EVERY TIME I open up the app-and requiring Wifi. This is terrible.

Similar to all other reviewers I am unable to use this app because of wifi requirements. Its faster to simply do a google search.

I deleted this app. It is impossible to use when you need it, because it wants to update every time you open it. Until they fix it this app is useless.

I am very displeased with the wifi requirement basically to operate the app! It really defeats the purpose of having an app on the go when you may not have wifi/internet connection at all, even though the prompt says you should be able to access old content. You should fix this if you dont want the majority of your customers flocking away from your app.

I work at a location where Wifi is not accessible. I used to use this app many times a day at work, however, it is now unusable because I do not have a Wifi network to connect to. Please fix for all of the healthcare professionals taking care of patients who count on this app (and dont have Wifi)!
